Workshops with a purpose
A workshop should add something meaningful to a student's training.
My sessions are designed to be practical, engaging and immediately applicable - combining vocal expertise with the realities of professional performance.

Musical Direction & project work
Alongside specialist workshops, I can provide musical and vocal direction within productions and creative projects.
This might involve supporting performers with musical material, providing specialist vocal input or working collaboratively with your existing creative and teaching team.
The approach is collaborative and responsive. There isn't one route to becoming a successful performer, and there isn't one way to approach every piece of material.
The aim is to give students the knowledge, tools and confidence to make informed choices for themselves.
Staff CPD
I also offer CPD for singing teachers, musical theatre practitioners and performing arts teaching teams.
Sessions can be developed around your team's interests and requirements, with potential areas including vocal teaching, efficient vocal use and contemporary approached to singing teaching.
This isn't about telling experience practitioners how to teach.
It is an opportunity to explore ideas, challenge assumptions, share current thinking and consider how different approaches might be applied within your own teaching practice.
Supporting the performer beyond the studio
Elite training should prepare performers for more than their final assessment.
Students need to develop their own voice, make informed artistic decisions and take responsibility for their ongoing development.
That becomes particularly important as they move towards professional auditions and work.
My approach is therefore practical, performer-centred and industry aware.
Students should leave a session with something they can actually use - wether that's a new technical tool, a clearer approach to an audition or a better understanding of what the professional environment requires.
The goal isn't to give every performer the same answers.
It's to give them better tools, greater confidence and the ability to make informed choices for themselves.
Experience within elite training
My work is informed by extensive experience within higher-level performing arts education, alongside ongoing professional practice as a vocal coach and musical director.
That experience gives me an understanding of the demands placed on both performers and training institutions.
